Microsoft Internet Explorer Settings

Supported Operating Systems:
Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows 8 or Microsoft Windows 8.1

Supported Browsers:
Microsoft Internet Explorer v8, v9, v10 or v11


If you are running Windows 8 or 8.1 your Internet Explorer must be in Desktop mode.


If the viewer was installed successfully and your browser is using default settings, no browser configuration should be required. However, you may want to make sure that everything is configured as follows:


1.Click Internet Options from the Tools menu.


2.Make sure that https://www.xoranconnect.com has been added to Trusted Sites.
Click the Security tab. Select the Trusted sites icon. Click Sites button. The Trusted sites window will appear.
If https://www.xoranconnect.com is not on the list of Trusted sites, type https://www.xoranconnect.com and click Add button. Click Close to continue.


3.Make sure that Security Level for Trusted sites is Medium, Medium-low, or Low.
Click the Security tab. Select the Trusted Sites icon. If Security Level is not Medium, Medium-low, or Low adjust it to Medium.

Make sure that Enable Protected Mode is not checked.

Click OK to continue.


4.Click Compatibility View settings from the Tools menu.


5.Make sure that https://www.xoranconnect.com has been added to Compatibility View.
If https://www.xoranconnect.com is not on the list of Compatibility View sites, type https://www.xoranconnect.com and click Add button. Click Close to continue.


6.Restart Microsoft Internet Explorer.
